In April, the pop trio Red Sleeping Beauty released their critically acclaimed album 'Stockholm' on Matinée Recordings. "A modern synth pop classic."

After four album and an ocean of singles and EPs in English, Red Sleeping Beauty now release their first ever single in their mother tongue. 'Ikväll' is warm summer night of lust, hopes and expectations with a chorus that is impossible to get out of your head.

"The chorus came to me in Swedish, which has never happened before", says Niklas Angergård. "We really felt it really had something, so we recorded it the same afternoon."

'Ikväll' is out on Friday June 7th.

The English version 'Tonight' is taken from 'Stockholm' and will be released together with three exclusive recordings (including a cover of The Field Mice's 'Emma's House') as a CDEP on July 12th.

The trio of Niklas Angergård, Kristina Borg, and Mikael Matsson formed in 1989 and released a series of pop gems on the finest labels of the day including Marsh Marigold, Motorway, Sunday and Siesta.

After a 15-year disappearance, they returned in 2016 with new releases including the excellent album ‘Kristina’ on Shelflife and Labrador. In April 2019, the band's fourth and so far best album 'Stockholm' was released on Matinée Recordings. It was mixed and mastered by sound genius Tomas Bodén (The Radio Dept., Differnet).
